German Society for Membrane Technology
A registered society since 31st January 2001

The DGMT was founded in 2000 as an affiliation of members from the
following sectors:

• Plant construction
• Membrane manufacture
• Advisory and consulting services
• Operators of membrane equipment
• Interested experts from various faculties

Its declared objective is to promote membrane technology and its
application in Germany.

The DGMT sees itself as an unbiased mediator between the users of membrane processes and specialist enterprises in the membrane technology sector.

The DGMT undertakes

• to mediate potential clients / users of membrane technology to qualified specialist firms,
• to provide literature and sectoral information for all interested parties.
• to organise seminars, training sessions and specialist events,
• to support the participation of membrane enterprises in trade exhibitions,
• to stimulate and accompany research and development work and
• to perform public relation campaigns and political work.
